Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty is all set to make his Bollywood debut with 'Tadap', co-starring Tara Sutaria. The trailer of the film was recently launched, and it amassed rave reviews from the audiences. Now, Suniel’s close friend and former co-star Akshay Kumar has also praised Ahan's performance and screen presence.

In a tweet on Thursday, Akshay wrote, “Yaar @SunielVShetty tera beta toh tujh se bhi das kadam aage hai. Yeh kis type ki herapheri hai bhai ? What a trailer of #Tadap! Lots of love and best wishes to Ahaan.”


Suniel Shetty was overwhelmed to see Akshay Kumar praise his son. Reacting to his tweet, Shetty pointed out that the prediction he made years ago was completely right and expressed his gratitude to his Hera Pheri co-star.

“You were the first one who wished and predicted something beautiful years ago by just looking at his pic akki … Thank you so very much for the love you always show … appreciate,” Suniel Shetty wrote.


Akshay has been rooting for Ahan for a long time now, and he had even shared the poster of his film. "Totally nailed the angry young man look here, looking forward to watching you on the big screen. Sending all my love and best wishes for #Tadap.#AhanShetty @TaraSutaria @MilanLuthria @WardaNadiadwala @NGEMovies @foxstarhindi," he posted.

Tadap has been directed by Milan Luthria.

Talking of Suniel and Akshay, the actors have shared screen space in many films - from Waqt Hamara Hai in the 1990s to Hera Pheri and its sequel in 2000s.
